Terms of Use

Open this site, press play on anything, and these rules come with it. They are written to be read once, straight through, with nothing tucked away in small brackets.

Who owns what

Every title here is HTML5 work by an outside developer. Copyright, trademarks, characters and every asset inside a game stay with whoever made them. What belongs to us is the site itself: the shelving, the category names we invented, and every line of wording wrapped around the games. If you made something on these shelves and want it taken down, say so and it comes off — no haggling.

What we offer, and what we do not

This site offers a way into free browser games exactly as they are at that moment. We do not promise every title will run on every device or browser, we do not promise the site will never be down, and we do not promise any particular game will stay on the shelf forever. We accept no liability for damage arising from third-party titles or from using this site, as far as the law allows liability to be limited.

Things not to do

Do not scrape the site in a way that degrades it for everyone else. Do not frame our pages inside another site in a way that suggests they are yours. Do not probe for weaknesses without telling us first. And do not lift the wording we wrote onto another site without crediting where it came from.

Why a game can leave the shelf

The shelves here are not fixed. A title may be pulled because it opens into an empty frame, because the source files vanished, or because its author asked for it back. When that happens we record the date and the reason, and the old address answers that the material has been withdrawn instead of quietly bouncing you somewhere else. These rules can change over time; the date at the top of the page is always the date they last did.
