What playing this feels like

Brick Out explains itself in three seconds: catch the ball, send it back up, take the wall apart. What separates competent play from flailing is understanding where the ball will go next, which depends entirely on whether it lands near the middle of the paddle or out towards an edge.

Playing well is therefore not about scrambling to reach the ball but about arriving early in the position that sends it where you want. The most valuable target is usually a channel up the side of the wall, because once the ball is loose above the bricks it clears a stack of them on its own while you simply keep the paddle honest underneath.

Later layouts mix in bricks that need more than one hit and rows that shift position, which quietly changes the job from clearing a wall to managing an angle. It stays a two-minute proposition either way, and restarting costs nothing.
