What stops this becoming another interchangeable matcher is that the goal shifts from stage to stage. Sometimes it is a quota of a given colour; sometimes an object has to be escorted down to the bottom row. Those two demands are played in completely different ways.

The escort stages are where most attempts fall apart, because the best-looking match on the board rarely helps unless it sits directly beneath the object being moved. The right instinct is to look at one column first and then work out how to empty the squares below it.

The undersea palette is bright and busy, which makes the board hard to read at first for some players. When that happens, read shapes instead of colours — the silhouettes of the different fish are distinct enough to sort by without relying on hue at all.
