Cars is driving with the complications removed. Left and right shift lanes; the job is getting past whatever appears in front for as long as possible. No upgrades, no story, just a road and the things on it.

The upside of that plainness is that it starts the moment it loads, with nothing to read first, and it suits a phone particularly well because one thumb covers everything. The downside is repetition over a long sitting, so it plays better as short attempts at a distance target than as an evening's entertainment.

The one habit worth correcting is looking too close. Anyone staring at their own bonnet reacts late every time; lifting the eyes to the middle of the screen and letting the hands follow changes how the whole thing feels within a single attempt.
