What playing this feels like

No story, no characters, just a grid of face-down cards and a clock ticking along. That bareness is exactly what makes it the most honest exercise here — nothing else is present to disguise whether you actually remembered or simply got lucky.

The thing that genuinely improves is how the opening flips are made. Most people turn cards scattered all over the grid, which produces information too spread out to hold. Working along a row, or through a small block at a time, keeps what you learn adjacent and therefore far easier to keep as a group.

A round is over in a few minutes and the result is plainly measurable in flips taken. For anyone curious whether a few days of practice changed anything, this answers more directly than any of the more elaborate titles on the site.
